Pornography viewing numbers may be up in India despite regulation, and Indian Porn is popping up everywhere.

So while Indian porn is knocking the socks off of serious porn consumers worldwide, and within the country’s massive borders- people are asking, “Is porn illegal in India?”. In a word- sort of. The country is still not entirely free of its postcolonial shackles. Which can pose as both a boon and a hindrance for the genre.
