Up until about three years ago I had a fear of needles so intense that I required Valium to have my finger pricked (a fear that made no sense, by the way, because I was into anal, and a dick in your ass definitely hurts more than a tiny needle in your skin.) I guess I could say that’s one of the reasons I have no tattoos, that and the fact that I’ve never liked anything so consistently that I would inflict pain upon myself to memorialize it. Except for various types of liquor, but I’m trying to grow out of that.
